What is Games Day?

Games Day is the meeting of people who are interested in game playing and miniature painting.  On Games Day there will be role playing, miniature battles, card games, and miniature painting demonstrations run by experienced Game Masters for players to participate in.  The game room will also be open for any gamers to come and play whatever games they would like to or you can just come to watch.  Call 808-596-8236 with any questions about any of our activities.

The peasant mage doesn’t have a lot of supernatural resources at his beck and call. He makes do with petty charms, simple incantations, and hope.

In Peasant Magic:
  • The player must make decks out of predominantly common cards.
  • Deck contruction is constrained: decks may contain no more than five uncommon cards, and rare cards are not allowed at all.
  • If playing with a sideboard, the deck and the sideboard must both conform to these strictures, the total construct having no more than five uncommon cards and zero rares.
  • Decks must consist of at least 60-cards and all other normal magic rules apply.

This format is less constrained than other constructed tournament variants: cards may be drawn from any expansion that had rarity ratings, and the only constraint for the use of a card is its rarity. There are no uncommon or common cards that are banned or restricted.

Magic prizes will be awarded to the top 4 players.
